Be Proud of Your Roots

Today when going through my reader for the day I came across Abduzeedo‘s post on some mini postcards that have been bouncing around in a designer community called Dribbble. They have been posting back and forth these small poster kind of designs on their hometowns or current cities and I love the series. Check it out here on Abduzeedo’s post. But I thought for today it would be kind of fun to throw up here a couple of my own from different towns I have lived in or have been a major part of life.

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
