Every couple days I have to get out of the home office and do something that is totally out of the ordinary for my day. I have posted before about one of my favorite things being that I love going to antique stores and other thrift stores just for fun. I love the old type on the bottles, the books, and packaging you find in antique stores. They just don’t make things like they used to and so today I thought I would share my exploration from yesterday. I had a blast exploring little antique stores and finding fun things that were both slightly creepy and cool. But my favorite things are the ones that incorporate type.

Enjoy! Tomorrow look for the Ask Megan with outfits for the Working girl. Also please submit questions you would like to see solved on the blog at [email protected]

Thanks guys!

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
