Fly Fly Away

With it puking snow out of the sky today all I can do is think about flying away to somewhere where it is above 50 degrees and sunny heck even 40 would make me happy. I had to post these bright sunny colorful balloon photos to keep my head high as I fight off anger with the weather man.

On the upside I am very excited to share dinner with Bryan and Mae of Bryan and Mae Photography and Dan and Liz of Dan Stewart Photography tonight. Planning on making one of my favorite little salads and enjoying some good laughs and great company.

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
