Not many people know this, but the clothing outfitter REI does sponsored adventure trips all around the globe. They have over 140 different trips to every continent on earth, yes that means Antarctica too. Which is on my list to mark off before, I peace out.

As an added bonus, all REI Adventure trips is 100% CO2 neutral. They offset the carbon footprint of all their trips—not just the trip itself, but also your air travel to and from the trip. They print all printed material on Forest-Certified and recycled paper and use only soy based inks.

Of the more than 140 trips the one I am most interested in the Croatia Multisport. For $20 you can become a lifetime REI member and book this trip for $2,599. 


They provide a gear list, trip reviews, photos, and the option to extend your trip. The trip is 8-12 days and includes Hiking, Cycling, and Sea Kayaking. There are more details at their site. Check out some of the photos:
