I am not really sure I need to explain all the ways that Marion is inspiring but I have been a fan of her ever since I saw her in A Good Year. She made that movie to me and in that moment in college when I saw that I wanted so badly to move to France and wait tables. She made it so glamorous.

Her style, her grace, and her low profile make her one of my favorite actresses. She inspires me to want to be not just parisian as in I want to roam the streets but the real beautiful elegant side to what it means to be a parisian lady.

I hope you find her poise just as inspiring as I do and if you have not seen Midnight in Paris make that happen this weekend. I want to see it again and maybe I should 🙂

Kitchen Essentials Check List

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
