I know I didn’t post on Friday or Monday and I am sorry but I was enjoying the long weekend. I got a chance to go and shoot two amazing weddings with Cory Weber Photography and got to enjoy beautiful northern Michigan even amongst the rain and wind. There isn’t a time when Lake Michigan isn’t beautiful. But I wanted to share some moments from the weekend from our cozy day at home after Mike had a little outpatient doctors visit to our evening spent in the Noggin Room at the Perry Hotel in Petoskey. From Traverse City to Harbor Springs we enjoyed the weekend fully!!!

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,
A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
