I am in love with this video from Erin Jang of The Indigo Bunting. Her work never ceases to amaze me and may be one of my favorite designers out there right now, which is saying a lot with my design crushes I get daily.

Her work is always on the edge of the next thing and challenging what we have known thus far and that to me is a true artist.

This stop motion video was done for the new iPad issue for Martha Stewart Living for May. Totally in love with the colors, the shapes and the lines in this piece. Very inspiring. You can download the issue here.

We are down in Dtown and am going to head to the mall do have a little retail therapy for the evening. Browsing in stores like Anthro and Kate Spade always are inspiring to me.

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
