If you are anything like me you love the ideas of modern spaces but you just cannot grasp the idea of having a stark space. I can buy into the clean lines, shapes, and textures but I really need a space that feels lived in and has some kind of story to it. That is why when I saw this living room I felt it was the perfect combo of that. Now I live the style here but it is a little dark for my taste. I used similar ideas but brought in some color that made the space feel more lively. Not to mention I needed a reason to bring in the painted antlers from Made by Cassandra Smith I want to do this to my own so bad but haven’t had the guts yet…maybe one day.
