There is little introduction I need to give to the Mrs. Spade but I do have to say that this may be one of the most inspiring things in my life. The combination of cleans lines, color palettes that may make some color theory professors’ hair stand on end, all mixed with the wit and whimsy that makes you giggle a little and feel warm all over. Kate Spade has given me an education over my life. From a small girl in Macy’s looking at her bags in cases and dreaming of the color combinations even back in the 90’s. There is no one from the fashion world that has influenced my love for color and design aesthetics over the last 5-6 years than this talented designer. Though I have yet to visit the New York store or purchase one of the beautiful bags I wish I could jump into one of her ads for only a minute!
The sparkles, the high chroma colors, and the chic new york style is almost more than I can take so enjoy this collection of advertisements that make me warm all over especially on this very wintery day in Northern Michigan.
Speaking of which, we shoveled our walk way and driveway last night at 11 before we headed to bed and woke up and shoveled at 9 and were moving 4-5 inches. Then since then (now 2 almost 3 in the afternoon) we already have another 2-3 inches on the steps outside. OMG! So much snow for the next 3-5 days. Love it though it is beautiful and cozy. I have to also say we have been enjoying shoveling because it is quiet the work out moving 4-5 inches of snow twice a day.
