This may be my favorite Pin Love! I have been spending the last few weeks since my return from vaca…remember this post?…defining where Hitch’s branding will move to better represent what where we are going. I am beginning to feel I am having a better grasp on who I am as a blogger, designer, and tastemaker. I spend all day whipping out branding and ideas for other businesses but when it comes to my own I feel like a dumby…that’s me..pointing at myself right now…everyone laugh please!

I honestly have been lost for what I wanted and the other night I said to Mike design my site and he hit it on the mark. So plan to see more of this as I develop my brand over the next few months.

It’s been a crazy week and I cannot believe it is May on Sunday especially since it is snowing outside. I am ready for summer or at least a solid spring. Happy Friday my dear friends! Muah!

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
