Man oh man it is Friday! This week has been chilly and cool here in Northern Michigan. I have worn wool sweaters already and socks are no longer an option for my feet. I think drinking peppermint tea and cider are also a staple for this weekend.
I have been very messed up on my sleep schedule this week. For some reason I have been so sleepy in the morning and very awake at night. My creativity has been so much more after 11 pm every night. I just regret it when I try to wake up at 7:30 or 8 since I probably have only been sleeping about 5 hours. It kind of catches up by today. Maybe some early to bedness tonight after watching some Mad Men is in store to recover.
Anyways I hope you all have wonderful plans this weekend. I have Weekend Links coming up later this afternoon.

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,
A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
