Poster Time

The best kinds of clients to have are ones that completely trust your design perspective on a project. They know and love the work you do and have faith that you will create something better than they may have ever dreamed, which is what they are paying you for.

One of those kinds of clients I have is Windward Church in Traverse City. Granted now my dad is the pastor and everything but I have worked with the people there and been an active member that has simply volunteered my design time but the reason I do so is because I love the freedom of the projects I get. I love creating posters and collateral graphics for an event or anything in that realm.

So when their Fall Kick-Off Party came around I was excited to do some graphics for them. Thus creating this fall poster. I love this palette and the typography pairings in this. Totally fun as always.

Enjoy.

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,

A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
