New Years rocked to say the least. We had a fun party with good friends at their apartment downtown then we all walked down a few blocks to watch the Traverse City Cherry Drop and fireworks. The champagne was good, there was dancing, lots of sequins, random crazy photos, and a few good laughs. If ringing in 2012 was any indication of what this year is bringing than I think this year will be one of the best yet.
More photos to come of the party and booth we did. I promise it was fun!
What did you guys do? What did you wear!? I want to know all about it!

Hello! I’m Megan Gilger,
A strong believer that nature and the seasons are our greatest teachers. We live on a hill in Leelanau County, Michigan just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan. This land we are responsible for is where we are focused on building a life around the seasons and intention. We spend our days here building a regenerative model of living and focusing our garden on native plants and intensive polyculture planting styles. My focus is less on self-sufficiency and more on community-sufficiency through how we grow and connect through the seasons.
