You know what?! This week was a little busy and crazy, but I have to admit it was pretty awesome. I did not get everything done and I still have to pack my bag for our travels this month in Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Raleigh, but I feel so good about work lately and I love what I am doing. I don’t know how else to say it other than just that.
Sometimes we just need to sit back and realize the good things even amongst the craziness. Many times this week I thought I should just pull the covers over and wondered how it all will happen, but I thought about how much fun so much of this work I am doing is and how awesome it is to do it with Mike. That killed that freak out in me and helped me keep going with a great attitude.
Tuesday we leave for Raleigh, NC and we begin working on a brand look book, dinner feature, brand release, and brand video for 2 of our clients. We cannot wait to share more as we are collaborating with some of favorite creatives (Jenn Blake and Jonathan Grant, as well as many others!) on this project and we are so excited to see how everything comes together. This is a dream project for us and one of our first together as team under our new business so it feels big and exciting to us right now. More to come so make sure to watch our instagrams (mine and Mike’s) while we travel the next 2 weeks. We will be posting our fave things from Raleigh, fun things we are doing, and other random posts from things we are doing while we wander the South.
Happy weekend my friends! I hope you spend time with friends, laugh, and let go. That’s my plan. If you are in Traverse City come stop by our event tonight at Brilliant Books on Front Street. Also if you are wanting to get on the health kick check out the awesome series Anna of The Yellow Table is doing in March. She has amazing ideas on how to stay healthy in the most simple, easy, non-diet, kind of ways. I love it!
See you Monday!
PS. This photo was taken on the shore of Lake Michigan in Sleeping Bear Dunes by Pyramid Point on our hike. The ground under my toes is all ice mixed with sand. It was the most amazing and beautiful thing!
